Adidas has signed one of the top quarterbacks in college football to an NIL Deal.
Miami quarterback Cam Ward has signed a NIL footwear & apparel deal with Adidas.
“It’s an honor to partner with a brand that sees [my] drive and supports me as I help build the legacy Adidas Football is creating,” Ward said.
This is a great deal for Ward since he’ll get to promote these products and continue being one of the top quarterbacks in the country.
Ward has helped Miami to a perfect 7-0 record and a No. 6 spot in the AP Top 25. Ward has thrown for 2,538 yards through the air, 24 touchdowns, and only five interceptions.
He’s very much in the Heisman Trophy consideration and will have a chance to win it if he keeps playing at this level.
This is his first season with Miami after spending the last two at Washington State. He also spent two seasons at Incarnate Word to start his collegiate career.
Miami will look to make it eight wins in a row when it plays 1-6 Florida State this Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium. After that, Miami will play Duke, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, and Syracuse to close out the season.
