Well, here’s something we didn’t expect to say: Haley Cavinder has entered the NCAA transfer portal. This news was just announced by Matt Zenitz of On3.

This is a huge surprise considering the Cavinder twins said in April they were done playing college basketball.

“Thank you for an unforgettable season. The love and support we received from the university and the city was special. We’d like to thank our teammates and coaches for bringing us in as family and being a part of a historic season,” the Cavinder twins wrote. “With that being said, Hanna and I have decided to not take our fifth year and start a new chapter in our lives. The U will always be home and we are forever proud to be Hurricanes.”

Earlier this year, there were reports about the Cavinder twins joining the WWE. Apparently, those plans have been put on hold.

It’s unclear if Hanna Cavinder will also enter the transfer portal.

For now, the focus is on Haley Cavinder, who averaged 12.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for Miami last season. The Hurricanes made it all the way to the Elite Eight.

Cavinder has one year of eligibility remaining. It’ll be interesting to see where she finishes her college basketball career.
