Haley Cavinder Turns Heads With New Uniform Photos

October 4, 2024 by The Spun

Hanna Cavinder Is Dating Star College QB (1:22)

Haley Cavinder recently made headlines with a scathing message for internet trolls.

Cavinder, a star basketball player for the University of Miami, is currently dating Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson. Her sister, Hanna, meanwhile, is dating Georgia quarterback Carson Beck.

Following Georgia’s loss to Alabama last weekend, both Hanna and Beck received hate for his performance in the loss. Her sister had her back though.

“I’m just gonna get this off my chest because this [expletive] just literally fires me up and annoys me so much about social media and society nowadays,” Haley said. “I don’t understand why viewers or fans or whatever it is get satisfaction of commenting on a person or athletes’ looks on social media — or roasting them and thinking it’s just okay to comment about what they look like, come at them, tear them down like these people aren’t human beings.

“It’s actually sickening nowadays how we turn a blind eye to someone’s comments about what a person looks like online. And it’s just sickening that people all get satisfaction of humiliating someone about their looks. It doesn’t sit right with me. It makes me sick to my stomach.”

Her message for trolls isn’t the only viral moment for Haley this week, though. On Thursday night she shared a series of photos showing off her new uniform.

“Hey 14,” she said showing off her number for the Miami Hurricanes.

Cavinder is back after taking a year off. During the 2022-23 season she racked up 12.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game. The previous two seasons she averaged nearly 20 points per game, with 19.8 points per game and 19.9 points per game respectively.

How will she do in 2024-25?
