Sports World Praying For Miami Hurricanes Star Kam Kinchens After Getting Carted Off

There was no love lost on the field between the Miami Hurricanes and Texas A&M Aggies on the field at Hard Rock Stadium today. But all of the animosity got swept away after Hurricanes star Kam Kinchens got carted off.

In the fourth quarter, even with Miami holding a dominating lead, the two sides continued to hit each other hard. Kinchens, an All-American safety last year, took a big hit with less than two minutes remaining in the game and would not get up after the last one.

Players on both teams gathered around Kinchens as he was tended to and ultimately stretchered off the field. He was transported to a nearby medical facility and will reportedly be under observation overnight.

Fans on social media are all collectively praying for Kam and hoping that he’s able to make a full recovery:

Big win for #CanesFootball but my focus is on Kam Kinchens. We are praying for you and your family. I am told Kam is on his way to Ryder Trauma center for overnight observation. 🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/bWvCVXypJx

Hoping for the best for Kam Kinchens.

Scary situation.

I know he is the opponent but I hope Kam Kinchens is okay. By all accounts he is a great kid and has a really bright future.

The 20-year-old safety earned First-Team All-ACC and All-American last year and is beloved on campus for his actions on and off the field.

We all hope Kinchens makes a full recovery.
