The San Francisco 49ers found their diamond in the rough when they selected QB Brock Purdy with the final pick of the 2022 NFL Draft. Since taking over as their starting quarterback, Purdy has gone 23-13 in those three years as a starter. Over the weekend, the 49ers rewarded Purdy with a five-year extension which included a no-trade clause. Meaning Purdy is pretty secure with his future and can choose his future team if the 49ers ever decide to trade him.
