Jalen Ramsey is officially taking his talents to South Beach.
Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the proposed trade between the LA Rams and Miami Dolphins has been agreed to and will be processed on Wednesday, the first day of the new league year.
The Dolphins will reportedly receive Ramsey in exchange for a 2023 third-round pick and 24-year-old tight end Hunter Long.
A six-time Pro Bowler, Ramsey remains one of the top-tier cornerbacks in the NFL and will be tasked with facing Josh Allen and potentially Aaron Rodgers twice a year.
He’ll also play opposite Xavien Howard under defensive coordinator Vic Fangio to form one of the tougher DB duos in the league.
Ramsey has three years left on his current deal but may be in for an extension once he arrives in Miami.
Earlier it was reported that it was “highly likely” that Ramsey would be moved. Something that the All-Pro doesn’t seem too bothered by if you check his Twitter account.
