The Green Bay Packers will lose wide receiver Jayden Reed for a couple of weeks this 2025 regular season due to injury, so they could look into trading for Tyreek Hill. According to the breaking news, even though the Packers continued to dominate in Lambeau Field against the Washington Commanders, it came at the expense of Reed. The Packers have one of the deepest receiver units in the league, but it’s still a huge blow to the group as rookie Matthew Golden and Savion Williams will need to step up in heavier roles. While they have Dontayvion Wicks and Romeo Doubs, who have been the emerging starters for quarterback Jordan Love, it wouldn’t hurt to add an explosive offensive playmaker.
After finding a way to trade for Micah Parsons last month, they shouldn’t be afraid to make another one to strengthen the offense for Love. The quarterback is playing at his best ever this season, and the Packers can’t afford to lose that momentum. Originally selected in the fifth round of the 2015 NFL Draft, Hill has been the subject of trade rumors since they lost in a brutal fashion against the Indianapolis Colts. If the Dolphins continue to lose and they have no use for Hill anymore, they could be willing to trade the superstar playmaker at a cheap price if he winds up requesting another trade and refuses to play.

Other Possible Fits
Kansas City Chiefs
This is a no-brainer for the Kansas City Chiefs. They’re in dire need of a reset at the receiver position, even though the injury to Xavier Worthy wasn’t as serious as expected. Rashee Rice won’t be back anytime soon since he’s still serving his suspension for a car accident. With JuJu Smith-Schuster, Tyquan Thornton and Marquise Brown needing to step up for the upcoming Super Bowl rematch, the Chiefs should take the risk and trade for Hill.
It should be an offer that the Dolphins can’t turn down. If the Chiefs continue to lose any of their receivers for the rest of the season, then head coach Andy Reid should pull something off to get Hill back in Kansas City.
Pittsburgh Steelers
Meanwhile, the Pittsburgh Steelers have built an old-school offense led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which means they’re trying to win sooner rather than later. After trading for DK Metcalf, they haven’t been able to find a superstar WR2 alongside him. This means Rodgers is relying on Calvin Austin, Roman Wilson and Scotty Miller as his rotating receivers that can get open in the aerial attack. They already have one of the best tight end units between Jonnu Smith and Pat Freiermuth, so why not get Hill in the mix if the Steelers are trying to win a Super Bowl now?
Dallas Cowboys
However, no one should put it past the Dallas Cowboys if they look into salvaging the receiver group further beyond CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens. After trading away Micah Parsons, the Cowboys have two first-round picks to work with, and they could easily change the conversation since fans and NFL media are still confused about this move. With Hill joining Dallas (despite his allegations) should put the team back in the playoffs and possibly be in play for an NFC Championship Game.
