Colin Cowherd Reacts To Tyreek Hill Calling Him A ‘Thug’

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill wasn’t impressed by what Colin Cowherd had to say about his team this week.

Cowherd knows the Dolphins are good but also doesn’t think they are world-beaters after they took down the Dallas Cowboys 22-20 last weekend. He downplayed the win, which led to Hill calling him a “thug.”

Cowherd then responded to Hill during Thursday’s edition of The Herd, saying that his message must’ve hit “too close to home.”

“I tend to think they attack the messenger because my message hit a little too close to home,” Cowherd said. “Miami in 23 years, no playoff wins. Last nine against the Bills, 1-8, and of the 14 current playoff teams, they have the lowest strength of victory. It took until Week 16 for them to get a win versus a team over .500. Not sorry for not coronating you.”

Despite the Dolphins’ soft schedule, they have a shot at locking down the AFC’s No. 1 seed over the next couple of weeks. All they have to do is prove Cowherd wrong and beat both the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills, two teams who are very much above .500.

Kickoff for Sunday’s game against the Ravens will be at 1 p.m. ET.
