Dalvin Cook Appears To Be Hinting At Where He Wants To Sign

June 8, 2023 by The Spun

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday that Dalvin Cook is expected to be released by the Vikings. It’ll mark the end of Cook’s six-year tenure in Minnesota.

A few hours after this report was released, Cook shared an interesting photo on Instagram.

Cook posted a picture of himself walking off the field at Hard Rock Stadium. Some fans are convinced this is his way of hinting at his next destination.

For what it’s worth, Schefter already said the Dolphins have interest in signing Cook as a free agent.

“The Miami Dolphins and Denver Broncos are two of the teams that are expected to have an interest in signing running back Dalvin Cook once he officially is released, per sources. There likely will be others, but those two have been monitoring Cook for weeks,” Schefter reported.

The photo Cook shared on Instagram is from the 2022 season. The Vikings defeated the Dolphins 24-16 in large part due to Cook’s performance (77 rushing yards and a touchdown on 13 carries).

Cook proved last season that he can still perform at a Pro Bowl level. He had 1,173 rushing yards, 295 receiving yards and 10 total touchdowns.

If the Dolphins want another weapon for Mike McDaniel’s rushing attack, they should consider making a strong offer to Cook.
