With rookie sensation De’Von Archane now on injured reserve, the Miami Dolphins are going to need their remaining running backs to pick up the slack. Will injured running back Jeff Wilson Jr. be able to help?
The answer appears to be no.
According to NFL insider Cameron Wolfe, Wilson has been listed as “Doubtful” for Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers. Wilson is currently on injured reserve and eligible to be taken off but the Dolphins will reportedly not be doing that.
With Wilson unlikely to play, the Dolphins will likely be utilizing a heavy dose of veterans Raheem Mostert and Salvon Ahmed along with rookie UDFA Chris Brooks.
Dolphins RB Jeff Wilson Jr. is DOUBTFUL Sunday vs. Panthers. It appears he will not be activated off injured reserve this week.
Center Connor Williams ruled OUT with groin injury. Jaelan Phillips and Alec Ingold questionable.

The Miami Dolphins boast the best offense in the NFL by a wide margin. They lead the league in both passing yards and rushing yards and have playmakers in both phases of the game,
Their passing attack alone should be able to get them past the Carolina Panthers this week but someone is going to have to step up in their games against the Eagles, Patriots and Chiefs after that.
Who will emerge as the star of the Dolphins’ offense in De’Von Achane’s absence?
