The Miami Dolphins didn’t need wide receiver Jaylen Waddle to drop 70 points on the Denver Broncos this past week. But it’s looking like they’ll have their star receiver back in time for their big game against the Buffalo Bills.
Speaking to the media today, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that Waddle was a full participant in practice today after missing last week with a concussion. He said that if Waddle clears the concussion protocol he should return to the team against the Bills on Sunday.
“Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle will fully practice today, per HC Mike McDaniel. If all goes well, Waddle will clear the concussion protocol and be set to return Sunday vs. Bills,” NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe wrote.
The news isn’t all good though. Edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and center Connor Williams won’t be practicing today as they’re both dealing with injuries of their own.

But Jaylen Waddle is a much bigger difference-maker here. He has gone for over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons and is already averaging over 70 yards per game for his young career.
Between Waddle, Tyreek Hill and a slew of other stars on the Dolphins, they might be the best team in the NFL right now.
