The Dolphins will have a new look on offense in 2021, as Wednesday veteran OC Chan Gailey announced he has resigned from the team.
The team confirmed the move Wednesday morning.
“I want to thank Chan for all of his hard work and dedication in what was a unique year,” Head Coach Brian Flores said.
“He played an important role on the staff and in the development of our young roster. I wish him all the best.”
Miami had a solid 2020, playing better than most thought they would under Flores. They went 10-6 but missed the postseason with a loss to Buffalo in Week 17.
The team wrapped up 2020 ranked 22nd in offense, putting up 339 yards per game.
Rookie quarterback Tagovailoa played well under Gailey, going 6-3 as a starter, throwing for 11 scores and five picks in 10 total games.
