The Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars have decided to suspend their preseason game after wide receiver Daewood Davis suffered a terrifying injury during their game.
During the fourth quarter of the game, Davis took a nasty blow to the head on a passing play. He went down on the turf and stopped moving, during which players from both teams gathered around him as medical professionals tended to him.
Oh no. Dolphins WR Daewood Davis goes down with a injury. He was carted off and the game was called off.

Davis was transported to a local hospital and is reportedly conscious. Thankfully, he is reported to have movement in all extremities.

Nevertheless, the Dolphins and Jaguars mutually agreed that there was no need to continue playing the game after the emotional toll of seeing one of their own get hurt in that manner.
We saw it happen earlier in the preseason when the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers ended their game early for a similar reason.
We wish Daewood Davis all of the best as he recovers from his injury. Get well soon!
