Dolphins open 2025 as Super Bowl LX long shots

February 10, 2025 by Dolphins Wire

The Philadelphia Eagles are NFL champions after an emphatic 40-22 win against the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Oddsmakers think the Eagles have a strong shot at repeating as champs next year too.

But they’re not convinced the Miami Dolphins have much of a chance of rebounding from their 8-9 season to make a Super Bowl run next year. In the opening odds for Super Bowl LX, the Dolphins are listed at 40-to-1 to lift the Lombardi Trophy next year.

Via BetMGM:

Philadelphia Eagles +650
Baltimore Ravens +700
Kansas City Chiefs +750
Buffalo Bills +750
Detroit Lions +800
San Francisco 49ers +1400
Cincinnati Bengals +1800
Washington Commanders +2000
Green Bay Packers +2000
Los Angeles Rams +2500
Los Angeles Chargers +2500
Houston Texans +2500
Minnesota Vikings +3500
Tampa Bay Buccaneers +3500

While nowhere near the 300-to-1 Giants, the Dolphins are being given the same odds as the Bears and Broncos, a pair of teams that were led by rookie quarterbacks in 2024.
