
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation after he was accused of assault and battery at a Miami Beach marina.
The news was confirmed by the Miami Police Department on Tuesday and the alleged incident occurred this past Sunday (June. 18) when Hill hit a marina employee during a “disagreement.”
After Miami Police confirmed the news, the Dolphins released a statement and said that they are aware of the investigation.
“We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives, and the NFL,” the Dolphins said, via NFL.com. “We will reserve further comment at this time.”

Hill is entering his second season as a Dolphin after he was acquired via trade last year. He finished this past season with 119 receptions for 1,710 receiving yards and seven touchdowns.
