The Miami Dolphins did some roster shuffling Sunday, including releasing wide receiver Freddie Swain.
According to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald, the Dolphins are letting Swain go with an injury designation, as he’s dealing with a pulled hamstring.
Miami also released cornerback Mark Gilbert while replacing them with wide receiver Keke Coutee and defensive back Jamal Perry.

Swain played for the University of Florida from 2016-19, amassing 68 receptions for 996 yards and 15 receiving touchdowns as a Gator.
The Seattle Seahawks selected Swain in the sixth-round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he appeared in 33 games with eight starts over two seasons in the Pacific Northwest.
Swain finished his tenure with Seattle with 38 receptions for 502 yards and six touchdowns. He spent last year with the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins, logging four receptions for 74 yards.
After exchanging Swain and Coutee, the Dolphins still have 11 wide receivers in training camp. Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Cedrick Wilson Jr. and Braxton Berrios are locked into spots, with veterans River Cracraft and Robbie Chosen and 2022 fourth-round pick Erik Ezukanma among the others fighting for a roster spot.
