Miami Dolphins star cornerback Jalen Ramsey tore his meniscus during training camp back in July, putting his 2023 season in doubt.
However, the six-time Pro Bowler has been rehabbing well, and on Wednesday, the Dolphins will officially open Ramsey’s 21-day window to return off injured reserve.
NFL Network’s Cameron Wolfe said Ramsey will return to practice later today.

Once Ramsey practices, the Dolphins will have three weeks to either add him to the active roster or leave him on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
Wolfe said Ramsey won’t play this Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles in primetime. Miami’s next two games after that are against the New England Patriots at home and the Kansas City Chiefs in London, so we’ll see if Ramsey has a shot to see the field in those contests.
The Dolphins acquired Ramsey from the Los Angeles Rams this past offseason in exchange for tight end Hunter Long and a 2023 third-round pick.
With LA in 2022, Ramsey equaled his career-high with four interceptions while also setting career bests in tackles (88), passes defensed (18), forced fumbles (three) and sacks (two).
