The Miami Dolphins are getting hit by the injury bug hard this offseason and are crossing their fingers that today’s injury isn’t as bad as it looks.
According to Dolphins insider Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald, Dolphins star left tackle Terron Armstead had to be carted off the practice field. He suffered what appeared to be a leg injury this morning.
Armstead made the Pro Bowl this past year in his first year with the Dolphins. He previously made three more Pro Bowls as a member of the New Orleans Saints between 2013 and 2021.
Injuries have been an issue for Armstead throughout his career unfortunately. In 10 seasons he’s never played all 16 games. He’s missed 13 over the past two seasons alone.

It’s hard to understate how big of a loss Terron Armstead would be for the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins went just 1-3 without him – the same win-loss record that they had without Pro Bowl quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Suffice it to say, Armstead is invaluable to the Dolphins and any time he misses decreases the Dolphins’ chances of winning games significantly.
We’re all hoping that Armstead’s injury isn’t serious and that he’ll be available in Week 1.
