Miami Dolphins rookie running back De’Von Achane got banged up during Saturday’s preseason game against the Houston Texans.
Achane ended up being carted to the locker room after he was examined in the blue medical tent. The exact nature of the injury is unknown at this time.

The Dolphins will be hoping that this is nothing serious since he’s been playing pretty well during the preseason. He finished this game with six carries for 27 yards after finishing last week’s game against the Atlanta Falcons with 10 carries for 25 yards.
Achane is a former third-round pick out of Texas A&M. He played three seasons for the Aggies and is coming off his best season in 2022, finishing with 196 carries for 1,102 yards and eight touchdowns.
The Dolphins are currently up 28-3 on the Texans and will have one more preseason game next week before the regular season starts.
Hopefully, Achane will be available for that one, plus the regular season.
