The Miami Dolphins and defensive tackle Zach Sieler have agreed to a contract extension as the 2025 training camp continues. The deal, first reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, keeps Sieler in Miami through the 2029 season and rewards one of the team’s top players.
According to Schefter. the deal is a three-year extension worth up to $67.75 million, with $44 million guaranteed. Sieler’s current contract had $2.28 million guaranteed remaining for this year, with nothing guaranteed in 2026. He was slotted to account for $12.4 million against the cap in 2025 and $11.5 million in 2026. The deal had two void years built into it, but the new extension will now replace those years.
Sieler began his career as a seventh-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2018, spending time on the practice squad along with six games played before being waived during the 2019 season. The Dolphins claimed him off waivers, and by 2020, he had established himself as a key member of the defensive line rotation. He has continued his upward trajectory, playing at a Pro Bowl level, including recording 10 sacks in each of the last two seasons.
