Dolphins Star Has Cowboys In Mind With His Pregame Outfit

Jalen Ramsey and the Miami Dolphins will host a star-studded Week 16 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys. The cornerback embraced his upcoming opponent with a pre-game fashion choice.

On Sunday afternoon, Ramsey walked into Hard Rock Stadium wearing a cowboy hat. He even greeted the camera operator with a “Howdy.”

Of course, Sunday isn’t Ramsey’s first rodeo. The three-time All-Pro may miss the Pro Bowl for the first time since 2016 after sitting out the season’s first seven games due to a knee injury. But he’s quickly made up for lost time, compiling three interceptions in seven games.

Ramsey and the Dolphins defense have a difficult task ahead when facing Dak Prescott and a high-powered Cowboys offense. Dallas enters the showdown second to Miami in scoring and sixth in total yards.

Miami will need Ramsey to lasso star receiver CeeDee Lamb, who has 103 catches for 1,306 yards and eight touchdowns this season. He’s reached the end zone in six straight games.

With star teammate Xavien Howard sidelined, Ramsey shadowed wide receiver Garrett Wilson during a 30-0 win over the New York Jets. Howard’s status could determine how much Ramsey follows Lamb on Sunday.

Both teams are 10-4 entering what could be the game of the day. While the Cowboys need a win to keep pace with the Philadelphia Eagles atop the NFC East, the Dolphins can’t get complacent late in the season.

A loss would narrow their AFC East edge over the Buffalo Bills, who already beat Miami earlier this season, to one game. They play again in Week 18.

Sunday’s game between Miami and Dallas starts at 4:25 p.m. ET.
