With the Dolphins losing five straight games and looking the 2-3 Atlanta Falcons in the face, it’s not all that surprising that there’s a lack of faith in Miami’s ability to win this Week 7 matchup.
According to Tipico Sportsbook, the line for this game opened with the Dolphins as 2.5-point underdogs. Heading into the weekend, it appears Brian Flores’ team is still being given the same chance, with the spread sticking at 2.5 points.
Believe it or not, the odds for a Falcons’ victory have decreased from -140 to -135 which is interesting considering nothing has happened that should make it less likely that they win.
The over/under remains the same at 47.5 points.
Miami has had 14 players on their injury report this week, and 12 of them have only participated in practice in a limited role, so there’s a chance that the odds shift after Friday’s injury report comes out.
If the Dolphins are once again without their starting cornerbacks, Xavien Howard and Byron Jones, and wide receiver DeVante Parker, it will be another tough week for them.
