After two joint sessions at their Baptist Health Training Complex, the Miami Dolphins will host the Atlanta Falcons at Hard Rock Stadium for their first preseason contest of the 2023 season.
Miami enters the game following a 2022 campaign that saw first-year head coach Mike McDaniel lead the team to the postseason for the first time since 2016. While it’s unlikely that many of the Dolphins’ superstars will participate in this matchup, they have plenty of depth options that could play larger roles on other teams.
The Falcons finished last season with a 7-10 record, which was tied for second in the NFC South, but due to tiebreakers, they technically were the last-place team. Heading into the new year, they’ve turned things over to second-year quarterback Desmond Ridder as their starter, and there’s a chance that he plays this week.
