(Not that one)

The Miami Dolphins announced a pair of roster moves on Thursday, waiving linebacker William Bradley-King and signing quarterback Brett Gabbert. The moves come as the team prepares to move into the final phase of their offseason training program, including organized team activities and their veteran minicamp.

Bradley-King was originally drafted by the Washington Commanders in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He split time between the practice squad and the active roster with Washington until October 2023 when he was released. He then joined the New England Patriots’ practice squad for the remainder of the season. In August 2024, he signed with the Dolphins’ practice squad. He has appeared in four games during his career, recording seven tackles and half a sack.

Gabbert went undrafted out of Miami (Ohio) this year after six seasons with the RedHawks. He was invited to the Dolphins’ rookie minicamp last month on a tryout basis. He now joins the team as the fourth quarterback on the roster behind Tua Tagovailoa, Zach Wilson, and rookie Quinn Ewers.

Gabbert is the brother of free agent quarterback Blaine Gabbert, the 2011 10th overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
