When Eli Apple signed with the Dolphins in wake of Jalen Ramsey’s injury, all eyes immediately went to his longstanding beef with wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
But Apple says it’s “all love” between he and his former rival. Telling reporters after his first Miami practice that they’re all good.
“His locker is literally right across from mine,” Apple said. “I saw him earlier today in the locker room and we were chopping it up a little bit at the training and breakfast table. We all good. It’s all love. We’re on the same team. All love.”

The former first-round pick recalled his first interaction with Hill upon joining the team and praised the Cheetah’s athletic ability.
“We were just talking a little bit,” Apple explained. “He was telling me about the guys on the defense and catching me up and introducing me to the coaches I hadn’t met yet. It was cool, it was a great introduction. … He’s definitely one of the most athletic athletes in the whole world. Everyday going against him is going to make everybody better.”
Ironically, Apple was already living in Miami when he got the call from the Dolphins so it was easy for him to come workout for the team and ultimately land a spot on the roster.
Should be some fun battles between the two in practice .
