Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson are big fans of Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel.
Thompson got the chance to do a one-on-one interview with McDaniel recently and she told Andrews all about it during their latest “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa” episode.
“He’s everything you want him to be,” Thompson said. “His story is incredible. He never had anything given to him. Even the story of him going and getting autographs at the Denver Broncos training camp and him losing a hat, he had a Charlotte Hornets hat that he lost. It turns out that the video guy ended up buying him a new one and that video guy is now his stepfather because he introduced him to his mom. That’s then how he became a ballboy with the Broncos and how he met Mike Shanahan.”

McDaniel just wrapped up his first season as head coach of the Dolphins. He led them to the playoffs for the first time since 2016 after they finished 9-8.
He’ll look to lead them back to the playoffs next season and go deeper than just the AFC Wild Card round since they have a lot of talent.
That would please a lot of people, including Thompson and Andrews since they’re both massive fans of his.
