What happened in last night’s first round? What is the day two draft order for the 2025 NFL Draft?

The 2025 NFL Draft began last night with the completion of the first 32 picks. The night opened with every team holding their own first-round pick after no pre-draft trades had been completed, the first time that has happened. The trades did begin almost as soon as the selection process began.

The Tennessee Titans opened the draft with the selection of Miami quarterback Cam Ward, exactly as expected. Nearly as soon as the Titans turned in their draft card and the Cleveland Browns were put on the clock, the second-overall pick was traded. The Browns dropped out of the second position, falling back to the fifth position, while the Jacksonville Jaguars jumped forward to select Colorado wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter.

The draft then continued in order for most of the rest of the night until a series of trades happened with the 25th, 26th, and 31st picks. Who was selected when and what was the compensation in each of the trades? We have all of the first round results from last night as well as the draft order for tonight’s second- and third-round picks.
