Will we see Tom Brady playing on a new NFL team in 2023, for a future Hall of Fame head coach? The speculation is growing.
There’s growing chatter that Brady could leave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following the 2022 season for an ownership role/quarterback spot in Miami.
One NFL executive believes it will happen.
“They have spent a ton of cash there,” the NFL exec told Mike Sando. “If this team does not make the playoffs, I see Miami doing two things. They will trade for an established quarterback and they will also be back in the big-fish game for a head coach.
“If Tom Brady does not redo his contract, it does not take a rocket scientist to know that Brady and Sean are going to be in Miami next year.”
Brady reportedly had a “secret plan” to leave Tampa Bay for Miami and team up with former Saints head coach Sean Payton.
When Tom Brady retired, he was going to be introduced as part-owner of the Dolphins, per @ProFootballTalk & @BenVolin.
Miami reportedly planned to pursue Sean Payton, then add Brady at QB too.

Payton has since retired from coaching, though most believe that he will end up returning at some point.
Perhaps it will be in Miami with Tom Brady in 2023…
