If you feel as though you’ve been waiting for nearly forever for the Miami Dolphins to get back the saddle after the most uncerimonious of endings to their 2020 season, you’re not alone. But there’s good news to be had — today is the day you’ve been waiting for! The Miami Dolphins are officially back and firing things up for the 2021 season as of today; with players flooding into the team’s facilities to get preliminary responsibilities set and squared away for the upcoming campaign.
And the Miami Dolphins were kind enough to post up outside the entrance to the team’s new facilities in Miami Gardens and offer a glimpse of some of Miami’s talent on their way into camp for the first time in 2021
Among the notable players to make an appearance?
- QB Tua Tagovailoa
- WR Jaylen Waddle
- Newly signed LB Shaquem Griffin
- LB Brennan Scarrlett
- And others

One player who all around the Dolphins are eager to hear? Cornerback Xavien Howard, who is mired in a contract standoff with the Dolphins after a 10-interception season in 2020 that had him in the conversation for Defensive Player of the Year.
There’s no word on Howard just yet this morning, but expect an update later in the day. And when it comes, Dolphins Wire will be ready to break down the ramifications of Howard’s decision to either extend his holdout into camp or arrive on site for preparations for 2021.
