Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has finally made good on a bet from this year’s College Football Playoff National Championship.
On Tuesday, Dolphins director of football communications Anne Noland — a Georgia grad — posted a photo of the former Alabama QB rocking a Bulldogs T-shirt.
“It took 6 whole weeks of waiting, but @Tua remains a man of his word (despite significant eye rolling), finally taking his National Championship loss in stride today. How bout them Dawgs! #GoDawgs. And as always, #FinsUp,” she wrote on Twitter.

These two have a history of making friendly wagers on Alabama-Georgia games.
After this year’s SEC Championship game that saw the Crimson Tide hand the Bulldogs their first loss of the season, Noland arrived at a press conference wearing an Alabama shirt.

In this year’s title game, Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs took down Nick Saban and the Tide 33-18. The last time these two schools faced off in a National Championship game, things went a little differently.
In 2018, Tua lead Alabama to a 26-23 National Championship victory over the Bulldogs with three touchdown passes — including one overtime bomb to seal the game.
Tua is now heading into his third season as the Dolphins starting QB.
