Miami Dolphins Announce Their New Defensive Coordinator To Replace Vic Fangio

The Miami Dolphins have officially found their man.

On Saturday, the team announced that it has tabbed Ravens assistant Anthony Weaver to Vic Fangio’s replacement as defensive coordinator.

The 43-year-old previously served as defensive line coach and associate head coach in Baltimore and interviewed with the Commanders, Falcons and Seahawks.

“Officially official,” Reason shared. “Going to be interesting to see how he’s developed since his first stint in Houston as a DC and the philosophical/schematic differences he implements. … Either way, McDaniel has to get this hire right, there’s no two ways about it. Here’s hoping the third time is the charm for him in searching for the answer at DC.”
