Before a Week 11 showdown against the Las Vegas Raiders, the Miami Dolphins made the decision to move on from wide receiver Robbie Chosen.
“We have waived WR Robbie Chosen,” the team said in a brief statement.

The wide receiver has been more well-known for his name changes than his play on the field in recent seasons. Born Robby Anderson, the talented wideout changed his legal name for Robbie Anderson a few years ago.
That name change didn’t stick as he decided to roll with Chosen Anderson for a while instead. Heading into the 2023 season, that was changed again – this time to Robbie Chosen.
During his brief time with the Dolphins, he made just one reception. Chosen made the most of that reception, though, taking it for a 68-yard touchdown in Miami’s 70-20 beatdown of the Denver Broncos.
A speedster, it’s certainly possible Chosen lands on an NFL roster, or at least practice squad, for the rest of the 2023 season.
