The Miami Dolphins’ fifth-round pick is in.
The Miami Dolphins used their fifth-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft to add another pass rusher to the roster. After using their first pick to add Penn State’s Chop Robinson, the Dolphins used the 159th overall pick to select Mohamed Kamara from Colorado State.
A five-year player at Colorado State, Kamara worked both as a linebacker and as a defensive end. He recorded 93 tackles with 29.5 sacks in his career, including 8.5 sacks in 2022 and 13.0 in 2023.
After the Robinson pick, Miami came back in the second round to select Houston tackle Patrick Paul, who seems to be the heir apparent for Terron Armstead at left tackle. After no picks made in the third round, the team traded into the fourth round to select running back Jaylen Wright from Tennessee.
The Dolphins remaining picks are 158, 184, 198, and 241.
