Rookie running back De’Von Achane has been a revelation for the explosive Miami Dolphins’ offense this season.
However, the Dolphins are now holding their breath that they won’t be without the first-year speedster for a long period of time after head coach Mike McDaniel said Achane is being evaluated after suffering a knee injury in Sunday’s 31-16 win over the New York Giants.
Dolphins fans, fantasy football managers and people who like fun offensive football in general are holding out hope it won’t be a long absence.
“I knew the stink the Hurricanes left on that field would claim at least one victim on Sunday,” said one person.
