The Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins swapped young cornerbacks on Tuesday.
In what seems like a change of scenery trade for both teams and the players involved, Dallas sent 2021 second-round pick Kelvin Joseph to Miami in exchange for 2020 first-rounder Noah Igbinoghene.
In the grand scheme of things, this isn’t a marquee trade, but it is one that got people talking as the NFL’s cutdown deadline approaches.
“Tbh confused but both are mid,” said one Cowboys fan about the deal.

“Noah Igbinoghene traded. Felt like this was coming. Likely means Eli Apple is the week 1 starter opposite Xavien Howard, with Cam Smith potentially seeing reps as well,” said Dolphins fan and podcaster Tyler DeSena.

“Only news you should drop about the Dolphins is Jonathan Taylor to the Dolphins,” another person added.

Joseph appeared in 26 games and started three during his two seasons in Dallas. The LSU product logged 36 total tackles, two passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
Igbinoghene, meanwhile, played in 32 games with five starts in his three years with the Dolphins. An Auburn alum, Igbinoghene recorded 29 tackles, one interception, two fumble recoveries and five passes defensed.
