The Miami Dolphins got some great news regarding their starting quarterback on Wednesday.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Tagovailoa is officially out of concussion protocol after meeting with several medical professionals. All of them are confident that he will be 100% when the 2023 season starts.
Tagovailoa went into the concussion protocol for at least the second time after the Dolphins lost to the Green Bay Packers on Christmas (Dec. 25). It forced him to miss the rest of the season.
He went into the protocol for the first time after the Dolphins lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 29. That one forced him to miss the next three games before he returned against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 23.
The NFL community is truly hoping that Tagovailoa is alright since he’s been through a ton over the last few months.
With Tagovailoa healthy, the Dolphins can now focus on building more around him as they try and take another step next season.
