I have been a Miami Dolphins fan long before we all had internet in our houses. Before the internet became something we all had, we were either fans of a team or not, and really didn’t have many outlets outside of family, friends, and coworkers to complain to. Now you can complain and throw a fit about your team 24/7 thanks to the internet and social media. One of the takes that has always caught me off guard is the concept that you are a fan of a team until that one crap game. Maybe it’s not just one game but an overall poor season that causes people to come online and publicly say they are no longer fans of a team because things aren’t going their way. Multiple angles that take on your team confuse me.
So this evening’s question of the day is:
What would have to happen for you to stop being a fan of the Miami Dolphins, then switch to a different team or just give up on the NFL altogether?
