Ryan Fitzpatrick Reacts To What He’s Seen From Tua Tagovailoa This Year

August 25, 2023 by The Spun

A lot’s been said about Tua Tagovailoa this offseason – some positive and some negative. But what does Tua’s former teammate and mentor Ryan Fitzpatrick think about what he’s shown so far this year?

Appearing on the Pat McAfee Show, the former veteran quarterback spoke glowingly about Tua. He said that Tua looks great and he’s excited to see him play. Fitzpatrick also gave props to Tua for speaking out after being insulted by Ryan Clark earlier in the week.

“Tua looks great right now and he’s putting the work in… I’m really looking forward to what he does this year and he seems comfortable speaking his mind,” Fitzpatrick said.

Tua’s 2022 season ended with a concussion that caused him to miss the final few games of the regular season and their playoff game against the Buffalo Bills. There were questions about whether he’d be fit to continue his NFL career, but he apparently passed those tests with flying colors.

Now Tua is heading into his fourth NFL season and is expected to lead the Dolphins to the playoffs once again. If he can play like he did last year and stay healthy, that’s a very achievable goal.

What do you think Tua will look like this season?
