On Saturday night, the Miami Dolphins defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 26-24 to earn their their first win in the Mike McDaniel era, even if it is a preseason game.
While it could be argued that the Dolphins won due to the play of their defense and kicker, seventh-round selection Skylar Thompson did a solid job leading the offense for all four quarters of the contest.
The former Kansas State Wildcat signal-caller finished his debut completing 71.4% of his attempts for 193 yards and a touchdown, adding another 25 yards on the ground.
After the game, Thompson’s teammates and coach shared their thoughts on the rookie’s performance.
