It was announced earlier this week that HBO’s in-season version of “Hard Knocks” will focus on the Miami Dolphins.
Speaking to the media this week, Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa admit that he’s not thrilled about “Hard Knocks” invading Miami’s facility.
“I just like to keep things private in how I do things,” Tagovailoa said, via the Palm Beach Post. “But this isn’t just about me. This isn’t something that’s for me. This is something for the entire team and the entire team has to figure out how they go about that as well. So I know having conversations with some guys in the locker room that for them, it’s going to be tough as well.”

Dolphins cornerback Xavien Howard wasn’t as kind as Tagovailoa when asked about this situation.
“Hard Knocks is bulls–t, especially during the season,” Howard said. “No, I’m serious. I’m not a fan.”
Even though Miami’s roster isn’t happy about this development, head coach Mike McDaniel is confident that his squad will be able to handle the spotlight.
“I know there’s some guys on this team that garner interest, and I think that a platform for them to showcase who they are, and really the fan base to get to know the players and coaches better — I can understand the value to the National Football League, to HBO, to NFL Films, and I can understand the value for the Miami Dolphins,” McDaniel said. “It’s something that I think this particular team is equipped to handle, just because of the way they go about their day-to-day jobs.”
