Saturday’s USATF Masters Indoor Championships saw Tyreek Hill take the track for the first time since 2016.
And while the seven-time Pro Bowler won easily in the men’s 60-meter event, Hill took to Twitter to say he’s calling it here.
“Never racing again had me out there looking wild,” the Dolphins star laughed.
Fans reacted to Cheetah’s announcement after the race.
“1st place: 6.7s,” a user said.
“6.70 is very good. However, it is not world class by any means,” another replied. “Hopefully we can stop pretending that people outside the track world would walk onto the track and compete with elites.”
“From this moment on, no more Races… leave a track and field legend. Cheetah…..” tweeted Dolphins Wire’s Jason Sarney.
“Thank you for racing today and giving some exposure to USATF!” a fan commented. “6.7 is legit.”
For now Hill will keep it to the gridiron where he’s plenty fast enough.
