An injury kept Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill off the field for a key stretch at the end of last night’s game as they lost to the Tennessee Titans. Hill was frustrated by the situation and so was his wife.
Speaking to the media after last night’s loss, Hill admitted that he was in a ton of pain due to an ankle injury. But he said that when he texted his wife about the pain, she effectively demanded that he get back into the game if he could.
“It was a lot of pain. It sucked. I’ve been dealing with ankle injuries this whole season. I texted my wife it hurt. She said ‘You better get your ass back in that game,’” Hill said, via Joe Schad.
Ultimately he couldn’t and the Dolphins’ final drive to try and win was halted as the Titans won 22-21 after previously trailing by 14 points. The loss also knocked Miami out of first place in the AFC at 9-4.

Tyreek Hill finished the game with four receptions for 61 yards – his third-lowest total of the season.
The Dolphins have a chance to get back on track this week as they take on the New York Jets.
