Last week, following the lead by Kevin based on his post, where he revisited various past Miami Dolphins trades, I asked the following question:
Dolfanjoe points out one of the worst decisions made by any team ever.
Dante Culpepper for a 2nd round pick to Min. instead of that Bree’s guy?
Alley Gator did not answer the question, but does make a solid point about the team’s current GM. You can’t build a championship team by trading your way to it.
Here’s another question of the day…how many of the Dolphins 2025 projected starting defense were actually drafted by the Dolphins? Assuming that Ramsey is one until he’s actually traded or released.
The answer should prove once and for all that Grier has to go.
610WIOD is not a fan of trading up for guys that no one will remember.
Trading up for Leonte “Who?” Caroo.
darrel.owen, In response to 610WIOD, highlights another aspect of this team’s talent acquisition that has become increasingly frustrating.
Kept waiting for that guy to bloom, and it kept not happening. Such a disappointment.
phinette can’t forget trading up for a guy who could not stay off the juice.
Passing on Brees and trading for Culpepper was awful, but the Dion Jordan trade was a disaster. We gave up both a 1st and 2nd round pick for him.
darrel.owen points out yet another poorly conceived trade-up.
Trading up for Eich when Creed Humphrey was there for the taking, AND we needed a center. Mind… blown.
Well, that’s a solid list of massive disappointments. If you missed the original question post, what’s your all-time bone-headed trade by your Miami Dolphins?
As with all these posts, I would like to thank everyone who took the time to read our post and answer our question of the day.
