After a slow start to the season, the Dolphins have won two of their last three games, most recently a 43-17 blowout win over the defending NFC champion 49ers. The Dolphins have some emerging young talent that has helped greatly over the last month. That brings us to Zach Sieler, the 238th pick in the 2018 draft out of division two Ferris State. Sieler joined The Joe Rose Show on Thursday morning to talk about his journey from Ferris State, to Baltimore, and now to Miami where he is thriving. Sieler said, I love it down here, it’s kind of crazy how it worked out, between my first and second year about a half-hour out from Okeechobee we started a hunting ranch, about 95,000 acres getting from Baltimore then by chance coming down here two hours away from that place is kind of incredible.”
So what advice would Zach Sieler give to a young player who may not have the college offers rolling in? He said, “You just don’t give up, I was a zero star, a walk-on at a division 2, so not only did I walk on it was at a division 2…it’s just hard work, nothing can replace that.”
