Miami must put a stop to their 3-game losing streak but will have to do it against a tough opponent today.
The Miami Heat (28-28) are back at home after their West Coast road trip with a three-game losing streak to show for it and plenty of questions to be answered as we head into the final stretch of the regular season. They have a chance to turn it around beginning today at 3:30pm for an early game against the Brooklyn Nets (38-18) at the AmericanAirlines Arena.
They’ll be without Victor Oladipo once again but the Nets are also shorthanded with James Harden sitting out with a hamstring injury. Brooklyn also lost LaMarcus Aldridge to retirement earlier this week after an irregular heartbeat was enough cause for concern for him to cease playing for his new team.
The two teams face each other for the third time this season, with the Nets winning both games of a back-to-back set – 128-124 on Jan. 24 and 98-85 the following night.
ODDS: FiveThirtyEight gives the Heat a 52% chance to win the game.
