The Heat lost their season opener against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night while the New Orleans Pelicans won their first game in a 113-99 road win against the Toronto Raptors. The Pelicans were led by Brandon Ingram with a team-leading 24 points as well as sharpshooter JJ Redick with 23 points off the bench.
