Miguel Caprera, a house that makes history; Reaches 499 in his MLB career

Venezuela Miguel Caprera The Detroit Tigers beat the Baltimore Orioles 5-2 at Oriole Park in Camden Yard, winning their 499th career.

One out on board, 1-2 counts and clean the bases, Cabrera hit a curve to the right Matt Harvey Opening the fifth inning and stopping her in the middle to put the Boulders ahead, she added two more rounds to take a 3-0 lead.

In the sixth inning, Cabrera’s sacrificial fly gave Motor City another run for the Cats.

Caprera, a two-time winner of the AL Most Valuable Player award, is the 28th player in Major League Baseball history to reach 500 home runs. When he won, he was the first Venezuelan to do so and the seventh Latin American on the list.

Cabrera, who had three wins in the first four battles of the night, was in his 50s as the 35th member of the baseball club with 3,000. Quisqueyanos Pujols (3,292), Adrián Beltré (3,166) and Rodríguez (3,115), Cuban Palmeiro (3,020) and Puerto Rican Roberto Clemente (3,000) belong to the selected group.

Caprera wants to combine 3,000 wins and 500 home runs with Hong Aaron, Willie Mace, Eddie Murray, Pujols, Rodriguez and Palmero in their key positions.

The 38-year-old Slacker veteran has scored .256 this season with 12 homers and 51 RBIs, 19th in Venezuela’s major leagues.

Cabrera’s current contract covers the 2022 and 2023 seasons and the Tigers have options for 2024 and 2025.
