(CNN Español) – Natural Mexican Argentine singer Diego Verdacur has died in Los Angeles this Thursday, according to his family. Posted on his official Twitter account. And his wife Amanda Miguel fired the famous artist with a message on the official account of the same social network.
For their part, several media outlets, including The San Diego Union Tribune and Telemundo, released a statement this morning from Ana Victoria, Verdaguer’s daughter.
The text, published by Diam Music Record, states that the artist died Thursday afternoon and, at the family’s request, will be removed at a private ceremony.
“I am deeply saddened to inform all of his public and friends that Dad left his beautiful body today to pursue his creativity in another form of eternal life,” Verdaguer’s daughter wrote.
According to a report released by Time Music Records, the family has not yet made public statements that the singer’s body will be made in the United States.
Diego Verdacur was born in Buenos Aires in 1951 and has been the translator of such hits as “Valverre”, “El Pasadiskos” and “La Latrona”.
