In this new work, the author addresses issues that shape identity and questions the body, landscape and masculinity. This activity is part of the course Writing dialoguesIt will be attended by writer Aida Gonzalez Rossi, the Izaskun Legarza Library, and the author himself.
I will not be my mother nor will I give birth to my sister It is a book written from the body and the body, a book that has a limited structure, just as we ourselves, in time and space. In this volume, which is divided into two parts, the author focuses his thinking on the body: its limits and potentials. In turn, the poet reflects on the body that lives in the tourist area.

Yirai Barroso holds a degree in Language and Literature from the University of La Laguna. He published books Journey to the middle of the water (2015) and ceremony (2018), for which he was awarded the New Canary Bible Award held in the same year. In turn, he was the director of the magazine Vogal. As a critic, he prepared the version of the compiled stories of Josefina Zamora in The Infinite Outlook. Collected stories (2020) and studied Felix Francisco Casanova in his work Vorace’s Gift: A Lyrical Novel and Postmodern Attitude.
