Notes: Don Mattingly tested positive for COVID-19 and is experiencing mild symptoms. James Rowson will serve as acting manager in the meantime. The Marlins are 2-2 so far in games managed by Rowson…Brinson has a 147 wRC+ since being recalled from Triple-A on July 19. No currently active Marlins player is hitting better than him during that span…The most well-rested relievers available in the Marlins bullpen are Ross Detwiler, Steven Okert, Zach Pop, Austin Pruitt and newly recalled Sean Guenther. After pitching on three consecutive days, closer Dylan Floro is certain to be unavailable.
